 The Wolves, led by Senior Co-Captain, Brian McDivitt and the strong play of two time divisional doubles champions senior Kyle Lewis and junior Jeff Larson, claimed their 14th Divisional Championship in the past 15 years. The Cut Bank boys captured 3 of the top 4 places in singles and the top doubles at this year's Divisional. Final Divisional Scores were: Cut Bank Wolves - 38 **** Conrad Cowboys - 16.
The Lady Wolves were close to ganing their first Divisional title since 1985 needing to win both the final two matches of the day. The Wolves won one of them and finished just two points behind Divisional champions Conrad. Final Scores for the girls were: Conrad - 30 **** Cut Bank- 28 **** Fairfield - 17 **** Choteau - 9. The Lady Wolves qualified senior Jessica Jacobsen and junior Melanie Rice in doubles and senior Trisha Bauer and junior Kelsey Cooper in singles for the State Tournament. Jacobsen/Rice took top honors and claimed the championship in doubles for a second year in a row with some very powerful doubles play. The tournament was held in Conrad, Montana.
