The 2012 State tournament was once again an exciting event with the NW Division dominating the top play once
again. The girls' title hunt went down to the final few matches on the last day as Cut Bank, Conrad and Fairfield out
of the NW Division along with Chinook from the NE Division all had shots at taking home the team title. Conrad
prevailed scoring 28 points followed by Chinook-27, Fairfield-26 and Cut Bank-24. Senior Kayla Kraft and junior
Jillian Altenburg continued their winning ways becoming only the second Cut Bank Doubles Champions for the girls.
Kraft/Altenburg opened the 2012 season with a loss and then went on a 26-0 streak to claim the State Double
Championship title. Congratulation Kayla and Jillian! Paige Larson opened with a tough first round loss to the eventual
tournament runner-up but battled her way back in the consolation rounds winning her next five matches. She placed 6th
and joined Kraft and Altenburg as All-State Players.

Conrad also claimed their first ever boys title as the Wolves placed 7th in the tournament. Isaac Matt finished fourth in
the singles tournament with an outstanding tournament for a sophomore. He was joined with All-State honors by his
doubles teammates of Robert Jennings and Michael Kraft who placed 6th in doubles.
