NMSAA Fall Meeting Minutes
Monday, October 25, 2004
Meeting called to order at 9:15
Add questions concerning constitution part six of agenda.
Reading of previous meeting’s minutes was motioned to approved, seconded, and passed.
Letter was sent for Tim Tharpe.
Web page updates—results, rosters, schedules. Jim will get to that soon. AD’s need to update Jim with results of weekly games.
Complimentary NMSAA passes are available. Allows administration & board members to attend league game
Membership question reading membership constitution a team must be a school. Discussion followed. Boarding Dorm was allowed A motion to amend constitution was discussed saying that rosters must be sent by a certain date (by the Wednesday before the first weekend of play) to a designated officer or next game would be forfeited. Rosters may be amended due to injury, transfer, ineligibility, or an appeal to league president for special circumstances.
Motion made and seconded vote unanimously. This change will effect the boys’ season.
Motion to alter the constitutional wording in the volleyball section to reflect the above wording. Motion, seconded, passed unanimously.
Winter meeting date is Monday, January 17, 2005, at Shelby administration building.
Spring meeting date is Monday, April 25, 2005, at Shelby administration building.
MOA officials must be used for all final four tournaments.
Seeding of 7th & 8th grade tournaments.
Meeting Adjourned at 9: 45.
