NMSAA Spring 2001 Meeting Minutes

2001 SPRING MEETING MINUTES
Meeting opens at 9:05
Minutes read – approved as read
Havre’s request to join just for wrestling
-Scott states we’ve set precedence with Fort Benton previously
-Bill said they can come to invitationals but not to district meets
-Section 2 of the NMSAA Constitution prohibits addition of teams without
participating in all sports all year long
-Tara is to draft a letter to all area schools to see who would be interested in
participating in all sports
-Bill motions that we table it for a year, do a study with the letters to area schools,
then decide to open NMSAA to all area schools (FB, JI, HAV, FF, &
CHO)
-Scott seconds
-Vote-unanimously passed

Next meetings-Fall Oct. 29, 2001
Winter Jan. 28, 2002
Bill motions all officers to remain the same
-Jack seconds
-vote-unanimously passed
Discussion follows regarding the track trophy
Track coaches to as about who left a snake skin coat.
