NMSAA Meeting Minutes
January 13, 2003

Seeding for the BBB tournament
Should wins count against Combo teams? Discussions followed. Combo teams are seeded into last place. Wins will count right now.
6th Grade Track Relay
Scott Larson (CB) said that this relay doesn’t count for points and gives the 6th graders a relay. It gets others to participate. Decided to leave as is.
Volleyball Scoring
Should we follow the high school association is rally scoring. Discussion followed. Vote was 7 for and 1 against. Motion approved. Rally scoring to 25. Win by 2 Cap of 30; win by 1. Any uncompleted game doesn’t count.
Volleyball Scheduling
Cut Bank wants to schedule home and away matched for combo teams.
Sportsmanship
Letter to parents. Draft a letter to parents for next year. Letter is to be read at parents’ meetings and before all home contests. Input form all Ads and Tara will type the letter.
Wrestling. Throwing of headgear and swearing must be addressed to the athletes by the coaches.
This year’s spring meeting will be May 5th.
Wrestling Schedule
Discussion. Chester will not host matches on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003. Discussion of how the divisional tournament is run. Top 4 and a B Tourney. Make sure the B Tourney has many matches.

Entry Fees for Final four Tournaments—Bill to schools attending
BBB tournament seeding then took place.
