NMSAA Early-winter Meeting

Monday, January 14, 2008
9:00 AM Meeting opened
Treasurer’s Report: $670.07 in checking account
Attendance report: Everyone is present
Add MS football league to agenda.
Previous meeting’s minutes read. There was a motion & 2nd to approve fall minutes as red. Passed unanimously.
Any constitutional proposals or changes were sought. None given.
FB league discussion took place. Take info to coaches and get back to Tara ASAP.
Security issue during BB games was discussed. A parent came onto the floor after a referee in CB. This person has had charges pressed against him. He has been served papers preventing from being on school grounds in CB for a period of 3 years. BBB has added security in the building and gym.
Heart Butte had an 8th grade transfer come in during the season. This makes two 8th graders on the 7th grade team. Motion to have 1-8th grader on the floor at a time. Seconded. Vote passed unanimously. Updated roster is on line.
VB & WR issues and changes—none discussed.
February 11th is the last day for roster changes for VB teams.
Rosters must be in by Wednesday prior to 1st game.
Amber asked about warm-up times for VB. Warm-up period is recommended 5-5-2 unless both coaches agree differently.
Wrestling schedule was checked. No changes were made.
Seeding for BBB took place.
Mini Javelin—has been added to track events in 2008. 1 javelin (300grams) is $30.00 & 1 instructional DVD is $30.00. These may be found at www.turbojav.com
