NMSAA 2011 Fall Meeting Minutes

2011 Fall Meeting
Cut Bank Administration Building
Monday, October 10, 2011
9:00 AM
Meeting came to order at 9:03 AM
Attendance: Jim Gregg, Mark Loudenslagel, Micheal Hairsine, Dan Belcourt, Tara Thielman, Loren Tacke, Mike Schmidt, Brandon Kavanagh, Kar Shepperd,
Poor Boy Croff, & Sam Juneau were in attendance.
Introductions took place.
Contact Jim to place items on the agenda or website.
No corrections or additions to agenda.
Secretary/Treasurer position is open. Constitution says that the S/T is appointed not elected. Tara stated that she would be secretary/treasurer only as long as Jim is president.
Reading of spring meeting minutes took place. A motion was made to accept minutes as read. It was seconded and passed unanimously.
Secretary/Treasurer report--$276.43 in account. Tara will send out a letter regarding league dues. Browning MS & EG have paid. Please send this fee to Tara ASAP.
Administrative passes were sent.
Please reinforce the sportsmanship creed at events.
Appoint designated person to administer the NMSAA Officiating Pool Dan Belcourt accepted the position.
Constitutional wording proposal—Motion to change that the Secretary/Treasurer position is elected not appointed was made seconded, and passed unanimously.
It was suggested to post or place Constitution in referee’s room and/or with score board controller.
Choteau is going to host the 7th grade GBB tournament & Browning Boarding Dorm is going to host the 8th grade GBB tournament at the Browning Middle School gym.
Scheduling of dates and times of the tournament week games took place.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 9:40 PM was made, seconded, and passed unanimously.
